Glacier Park Adventure

August 2018

Just a day after Kelly & Nate’s beautiful wedding, the very desired Logan’s Pass shut down due to lighting that sparked a ranging fire by Lake McDonald Lodge. Lake McDonald was where Nate proposed to Kelly this past winter, so it was just so significant for them. However, by the next day, that fire had the beautiful mountains of above Lake McDonald completed covered in smoke. Why I tell you this story - is because without a doubt, Glacier Park opens the door to a whole new adventure and beauty that lies beyond what we hope or even dream of sometimes. And that is what I shared in not only the story of Kelly & Nate, but so many more this year.

So….. we ventured to East Glacier Park….

…..and Kelly’s amazing sister Dayna came along to be our “prop girl”! Can’t say enough thank yous to this girl!

We ran into a momma bear (like literally almost got cornered) that sent us all in a panic, while being watched by a handful of tourists. It still has us laughing!

Oh and if you don’t know… these free range cows are everywhere...

I’m going to share with you what Kelly & Nate wrote me after our amazing experience and time together. This brought me to tears. Thank you so much for choosing to work with me. It was a pleasure and honor to capture who you both are, not only with your family & friends but also in the epic Glacier Park.

xo,
Jennifer

From Kelly & Nate:

When I was a bride-to-be, I knew that a photographer was an important part of a wedding. I did not know, as a looked back on this incredible day, that our photographer would be the most important vendor we would choose! I realized, after this once in a lifetime experience, that the only thing you will have to hold on to after your wedding day is your memories and cherished pictures.

“Choosing a photographer is an act of trust where you put faith in someone to capture one of the most intimate and wonderful memories of your life. With careful research, we chose Jennifer Mooney Photography. From the very beginning, working with Jennifer was a dream. Her amazing ability to connect and care about every detail is equally met with professionalism and organization. Even with the hazy August forecast, Jen found us breath taking views. We knew throughout the entire experience we were in excellent hands.

One of our favorite moments while working with Jennifer was our Adventure Session in Glacier National Park. She knew like the back of her hand where we would find the most epic views in in the park. Throughout our photo shoot, even as a Montana native, I found myself on new mountain peaks overlooking the incredible landscape, knowing these would be the best pictures of our lives. While taking pictures, Jennifer provided clear direction and made us feel so comfortable. The entire day was filled with laughter and we couldn’t have had more fun building a new friendship with Jennifer.”
